LLMs and its implementations are increasingly becoming capable, allowing people to carry out tasks that were previously only accessible to people specialised in those field.
Where programmers are concerned, LLMs share some characteristics with junior developers, which could potentially increase competition. New developers entering the field now needs to either be ahead of what LLMs are capable of, or at least have leverage when it comes to utilising LLMs.
The intelligence of an AI can be split into 3 levels, weak AI (specialised), general AI (AGI), and superior AI.
LLMs are not considered AGI as they are still specialised in how they process inputs and outputs. You cannot pass it a task or problem that is beyond its scope.
